Recommendations for a multi-region player with progressive scan? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to get something that has progressive scan, and can play DVDs from all regions...as long as I'm getting a new player, I figured I'd look for one that would open up the possibilities of what I could see. I am by no means looking for the top of the line; I don't have a lot of money to spend on this, so I don't know if it's feasible... but if anyone would know, this would probably be the place to find out.

I would recommend the Oppo 970 ($149). If you search AVS Forum you will find instructions to make this player region free.
