Recommend an in-wall volume control.

    I'll be running from an amplifier in the basement (most likely a Harman Kardon PA2000) to two single point stereo speakers in the house. Fidelity and power are not the priorities here. I need in-wall volume controls for the speakers, attenuating speaker level signals. My low-voltage structured wiring contractor wants $90 per volume control. This seems excessive to me. Can you recommend an alternative? I'm not averse to installing them myself.

    www.partsexpress.com . Don't really know anything about these thing because I haven't actually started installing my whole house sytem.
