I'm looking to replace a DVD player (older, won't play DVD-R), and at the same time replace a 5-disc carosel CD player with one unit.

    Features I'd like:
5-disc carosel (remove/replace a disc while another is playing)
    CD, DVD, DVD+-R, DVD+-RW, SACD, MP3-CD playback
    under $300
    and preferably not Sony

I've been a bit out of touch in the home theater arena lately, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Onkyo CP-802. That's about the closest thing I know of off the top of my head. $499 MSRP. Shop around and you can get it for less than that. Under $300 is going to be difficult...unless you go Sony perhaps. [IMG] The Onkyo 802 is a awfully nice audio player and a decent DVD player depending on what kind of TV you connect it to.

It's brother is the Integra 8.5, which is $200 more expensive but it has better video DACs and a few other bells and whistles.

Ah! The Yamaha c750is out?! Yeah, that's something to consider for sure! [IMG]

The Video DACs are better on this Yamaha then the Onkyo 802. Audio is probably a toss up either way. Nice! [IMG]
