Can anybody recommend a decent car cover for outside use? I'm looking to store a convertible outside and wouldn't mind some protection from the elements, snow, so something that is waterproof is good.

I've heard on a board about "California Car cover", would this work in NJ? [IMG] Just kidding, but are they any good?

Believe it or not, J C Whitney actually sells an almost water proof cover for only $65-$80 depending on size. The part number is WH260_ _ _. The last three numbers are for the size ordered. I use it on my Fiat 124 conv that's parked under a carport and when it rains (the wind blows the rain under the carport) there's not a drop on it. I also have a '72 450SL that's under a much more expensive Noah Evolution 4 cover (admittedly better "ding" protection) and there's always a little water on the Merc'. BTW, I also suggest buying a cheap $20 cover to put on top of the better cover. The cheap one will keep bird droppings and who knows what else off the better one.
