The first one is from The Colossus of New York -- I watched it recently while my satellite provider was giving us a free preview of the Drive-In Classics channel.

Thank God it's over -- I watched way too many awful, awful films.

Nope, #3 isnt Target Earth. But i cant think of the name of the thing. That robot worked for a Vampire woman from space, and i saw the flick not to long ago on a buddies DVD.
Watch it be something like Vampire Woman from Space.

#5 isn't The Quatermass Xperiment. It looks like The Brainiac.

    I agree! Nothing a bag couldn't fix.

"Night of TERROR That Menaced The Face of The World?" How? By kidnapping men and forcing them to have hot sultry sex with beautiful women? Oh, no!

Thanks to everyone for the excellent help!

By the way, is there a website that reviews all these old 50s SciFi movies (with humor)?

I sure would like a nice DVD of Colossus of New York. Never released on any home theater product, in any region, ever. A shame - a neat little movie!

    A paintin' of mine:

All are out on DVD except Colossus of New York (Paramount owns the rights). Brainiac is being released on Januaruy 16th. I own all the others, I love watching & re-watching old Sci-Fi/Horror films.

    Thanks for the screen caps!

    Colton...

Did you already know the answers and this was a quiz to see who knew them? The captures are terrible - where did they come from? Some 5th generation preview trailer?

Any more to quiz us on, I like these kind of threads. Exposes people to new (old) and different things. I'm a oldies 'B' and/or 'Z' grade Sci-Fi Horror (Drivee-In) fan.

Being a color picture is throwing me off. Most of the giant bug movies were in b/w. The first thing that came into my mind was "Journey to the Center of the Earth" but that doesn't look right. Then "The Black Scorpion" was next but in b/w? Oh well, I give up on this one, who has the answer?
