I just was able to purchase a Denon AVR2805 reciever from
a Sound Advise store in a mall that was going out of busines, got it for $600 was that a good deal and could someone tell me what this rec is capable of? I am in the process of building an HT in my new house and want to know
what other items I should buy. All I have so far is the reciever. Thank you

Pretty good deal. Now you need a DVD player, a display (TV or front projector), 5 speakers and a subwoofer. Thats it !

You got a good deal on that. Now you need a DVD player, a subwoofer, and 5 speakers(preferably matching or matching timbre) or 7 speakers for 7.1 audio, and a TV(might as well get HD)
