Reciever knows DD? (1 Viewer)

Hi, when I get my coaxial cable for my DVD player, will my reciever highlight the cool DD icon in the LCD screen when I hit the DVD category button? Or, do I do something to make it so that it shows that icon?

You already have one, just grab any of those RCA plugs (yellow/red/white) that come with your player, and they'll work fine. Bits are bits, no matter what anyone tells you, don't waste your money on Monster cable or whatnot.
Every reciever I've ever seen lights up a DD logo for a DD signal
