I am in the process of building the Audax Home theater kits and I am getting to the point where I need to begin looking at a new receiver. These kits are said to be very good for HT and only fair for music. Kind of laid back so to speak. Onkyo 700 to brighten them up a bit or a Marantz 7200/ 7300 to better the musical ability of the speakers? Any feedback or experience with these speakers will be appreciated. Thanks

Honestly, I'd go with the Marantz if your information
on the Audax kits is accurate. Onkyo from my experience
really doesn't brighten up anything much, it reminds me of
mid-fi audiophilia. However, if you want broad range
dynamics without colouration, consider Yamaha. Some
audiophiles don't like it, because it presents a very
    neutral sound quality.
