Well as nobody in the Display Devices section seemed to have any interest in this thread, I decided to ask Mr. Sun to move it over here were I really should have posted it in the first place.

Anybody else running a constant area screen? If not, why not? :p)

Thanks. I'm really happy with how well it's working. However the really really really cool award has to go to what inspired me. Mines a cheapo version.

4 way motorized adjustible masking rigged up to be controlled by a universal remote.

Parts cost is about 6x mine though

Very impressive. My wife was walking by and saw the photos, stopped and said wow. Makes me wish I didn't have to use a folding screen so I could do something similar. I'm somewhat using a constant screen size now just without the masking.
