Hi,
This website (AntennaWeb.org):
http://www.antennaweb.org/antennaweb/step1.html
Shows the free OTA DTV signals in the San Francisco area as coming from all directions.
It also says I need a medium directional antenna with pre-amp.
I'm considering buying the Samsung STB SIR-T150.
My question:
Would I be able to receive a quality signal from all OTA DTV stations, or would I have to reposition the antenna based on which station I wanted to watch (to match the direction its signal was coming from).
Thanks!

That Samsung is my 3rd STB & it's the most sensitive in picking up dtv channels. (I previously had the RCA DTC100 & Tosh DST3000).

What you can pick up depends on the antenna, distance & other environmental conditions. Re: antenna, if you get something like the SilverSensor (indoors or outdoors -- I placed mine outdoors), you can leave it positioned one way (after some experimenting) to get all/most channels. Good luck.
