Please give us the difference between amplifier and Receiver...
Receiver=tuner+pre-amp+ampPeople who reply "I need a new amp to replace X"...when X is a receiver, need to learn the difference.
A receiver will have surround processing, video and audio switching as well as a multichannel amp. An amp is a separate component that simply amplifies the signal, with no switching or surround processing abilities.
So, Receiver have amp, But Amplifier do not have receiver ...
Not quite, you could say -
A receiver has an amp, an amp does not have a tuner.
A receiver is an amp, but an amp is not a receiver. (Which is what I think you were going for.)
