receiver input from portable player (1 Viewer)

i have a sony portable cassette/cd player and was wondering how i can connect it to my receiver. The player does not have any outputs as such only the headphone output. I tried using my camcorder a/v output to it and hooked it to my receiver but i can hear sound through only one front speaker... is there some way else i can do this so that i can hear sound from both speakers...thanx

You can try using this and buy a small RCA patch cord.


you may also be able to find an adapter that already has 3' of RCA connectors on it. I have one but I forgot where I got it from.
