I am sure something similar has been asked before but I could not find it with a search.

Now that I have some money from Christmas, I am looking to spend $300 on a receiver. I have a pair of JBL N310, JBL N Center, and a pair of JBL N26. Right now I am strongly looking at the Pioneer VSX-D811s now that it is on sale till Saturday at BB. Someone else recommened a Panasonic SAHE100. Any other recomendations/opinions? Thank you for the help.

HK AVR125 for around $180 at ubid.com. Refurbished but works like new! I have one for my bedroom and is loud! I have HK AVR320 in the living room that I got on thanksgiving for $299 at fry's new. That was a steal!

The main differences between the two:
    AVR125 - 45x5w AVR320 - 55x5
    - no preouts - 7 channel preouts
    - basic universal rem - learning remote

I used to own a Pioneer D409/411 model about 3 years ago. I liked it but the AVR125 seems much cleaner at loud volumes. There's also a 5 channel (7channel on AVR320) stereo surround option. It works like an A/B switch if you ever wanted to listen to 2 channel stereo using 4 speakers. Now you have the option of using the surround speakers as B speakers for stereo. Music sounds enveloping with this mode.

    Happy New Year!
