I would like some people's opinions. I currenty have a Denon 4802 receiver powering Paradigm Monitor 9's, cc370, and (4) ADP-170's. Would adding a 5 channel amp like the Parasound HCA-2205AT with the 4802 as a pre/pro be a significant improvement in sound, or should I wait to get an amp when I upgrade my speakers to something more demanding like the Paradigm Studio 100's?

4802, being a THX ultra receiver, is quite powerful. A three channel amp to the front will do fine for that receiver. It is quite capable of driving the four surround speakers.
