My mom is wanting to get my step dad a new reciever for their anniversary. She would like to spend around $400. Does anyone have any suggestions for this price range?

Onkyo 595 ($359 from www.jandr.com)
Marantz 4200 ($399 from here)
i personally like the 4200 (even though i own the Onkyo!) b/c it has pre-outs for future upgrades. both are fine machines though.
