soon i will be buying a denon 3806 for my fp setup. i planned to put all of my components in a 4' wide by 2' deep cabinet. as long as i keep some space (6"?) above the reciever, i should be ok with heat, correct? i guess i cannot invision a setup where all of my components are out in the open that is appealing to look at.

also, does anybody have an xbox 360 that is having trouble figuring out where to put it? it runs much hotter than a reciever does. i'd like to keep it in the cabinet and open the door when i use it, but i'm not sure it'll stay cool enough. any good ideas?

Porbably be ok, if it gets hot, just add some sort of fan back in there somehow for it.

If I were you I'd go on ebay and look for a couple of 120v 80mm fans, they can be had for cheap, simply cut a hole out in the back of your cab and mount them. They'll keep the air moving through it.
