Rear Sub Hookup

    Question... Have a older Sub collecting dust so I hooked it up to my rear suround speakers thur the speaker wire in/out on the Sub. Iam getting perty good results but,Would I do better useing the Pre out- RCA Rear Surounds on The Amp and useing a Patch cord to the sub?

    Yes, it would be better. If you can get a cable all the way back there and put RCAs on it, go for it!

    Okay now if I were to make a patch cord myself that long say 20 feet useing Speaker wire will this work or will I run into Trouble ?? Sorry if its a stupied Question just trying to see how to do it without spending a lot.

    Darrel, just get some RG-6 coaxial cable and some F-type to RCA adapters as Wayne has suggested. I have my sub in a rear corner of the room connected this way. It was very easy to do, inexpensive and works great.
