I am looking into getting two read speakers cheap so I can have 7.1. Currently have definitive technology procinema pro60 which is being powered by a pioneer elite VSX-81TXV. I have it set to 6ohm which will produce 150 watts to each speaker. Like I said I am looking into getting two rear speakers cheap. I been looking online and someone is selling Bose 301 direct/reflecting speakers for $70. Would you think these speakers would be good since the price is really low? Maybe I could have these as my front speakers and put the front speakers I have now in the rear. What do you guys think?

No, you don't. Your "150 watts" isn't really going to be 150 watts other than for extreme peaks, and even then I'm not sure it would push that much. Sound is very dynamic and never constant. For the most part you're never going to push more than 25watts into your speakers at normal-high volume levels, and you're rarely going to peak at even 100 watts. Power ratings on speakers generally mean nothing. Impedance ratings and sensitivity (which Bose does not list) are far more important, but still not the only things to look for.

The Energy speaker should be fine for what you're doing, ESPECIALLY being that it's a surround job, which isn't going to get much power at all, and shouldn't have severe impedance dips. You might however, want to look into getting the matching Def Tech speakers since there is going to be a tonality mismatch (not really important in surrounds but it still will be there) and a size mismatch (again not important unless you care about aesthetics. The Energys are bookshelf speaker while your Def Techs are sats).
