rear speaker height? (1 Viewer)

i am doing a 7.1 setup and have some obstructions with placements. for the rear speakers do u think its ok that one of them is about 1 foot lower than the other.

It is not ideal, however, if if sounds good to you, than it is no real problem. Mine are not exactly as they should be and with good surround material sounds pretty good.

just wondering if it will be noticeable when watching movies and tv.

The only way to know for sure is to try it. I have moved my surround speakers around a couple of times and some places are better than others. I still don't have an ideal arrangement, but sometimes I just have to make do. Keep experimenting if you can. I have used a little putty to cover up old holes. And a little wall paint for near invisible repair. Please send me a Private Message for more details. I will try to get back to you ASAP.
