Whoa, that looks like a place I used to live on Huntington Pkwy in Nashville. Sorry, I know that's off topic. [IMG]

The rears seem fine for where they are, although I recommend moving the sofa to a more central location between the TV viewing area and the speakers. Also is there any way you can move the front three speakers down to the listeners level? Angle the center down at the listening area and try to have the front left/right channel down on stands with the tweeter near ear height (while seated). Just some suggestions. Not sure how much real estate the speakers are allowed to take up before they intrude on the WAF (wife acceptance factor).

WAF factor I don't got no WAF factor to worry about [IMG]

So I can play and play and play...... I just got the rear speakers and am going to order new fronts and center on Payday.... the fronts are floor standing and the ceneter will be mounted on top of the TV....

I think I am going to move the couch forward about a foot or so, but I would like to get the speakers mounted on the wall and off of the stands. The RR is right next to my front door, so I can see where it could get knocked down.

    thanks

Yeah, mounting will protect them from being knocked over. Play around with the placement of the speakers when you get the new fronts.

Oh and the WAF can get you things like this: My Home Theater

Wife completely supported and help with the decorating of the room. More complete pictures (but not current) found here: Theater Project
