what is the best way to clean the grill mesh? :b
If you're talking about cloth grilles, I've had good results with spray-can foamy upholstery cleaner. Take the grille off first, support the backside with a clean towel, spray on the foam and gently rub clean with another clean rag or towel.
For perforated metal grilles or something like that... I suppose just take them off and scrub them with a brush and soapy water.
That's not a silly question at all.
Dave, out of curiosity, what brand of cleaner do you use?
I use the "wand" of my vacuum cleaner without any attachments. If that makes any sense.:b
If you are a real man and have a air compressor, that migth be a good place to start.
Well, I don't have grills on any of my speakers at home, but at work I use high pressure air, or the aforementioned cloth and some windex for metail grilles.
I use the The Steam Buggy. It makes them look brand new again.
