Hey Y'all, I am currently facing the unfortunate problem of not being able to utilize my sub to its full potential due to the lack of a proper connection. It's weird...I have a sub which uses banana plug connections; however, my receiver uses an RCA jack for sub connections. HELP!!!

This will not work as they are different signal levels, one amplified and one line level. There is no adapter that will do this for you as you would be feeding an unamplified signal to the sub. If you only have speaker level inputs on your sub then that means you need to have an external amp to power it. The preamp out (RCA) from your receiver goes to the amp and that amp provides the speaker level to the sub.
