I recently got a great deal on this 36" non-hidef set and was wondering if anyone has tried using a Progressive Scan DVD player through its RGB inputs. My current DVD player is not progressive scan and only has S-Video out, before I buy a new player I want to know how each of these features (Progessive and RGB) will work with my set. Anyone know?

The answer is no. What your set has is "REGULAR" Component Video Inputs. To be able to get a progressive scan picture your tv has to be an HDTV or an EDTV with 480P (P=Progressive Scan) Component Video Inputs.
