QVC has this as their "Today's special value", for just under $1800 shipped and installed. This seems like a good deal compared to the other prices I found online, especially since they have it on easy pay (divided up in 4 months, so $450/month).
However, I don't know much about this TV and can't find much info about it. Here's RCA's short product info:
    http://www.rca.com/product/viewdetai...CI206,00.html?
It has the perfect size for my room, and it also has DVI/HDCP input. Does anyone know how the picture quality compares to other similarly priced and sized sets?
I'm also a bit worried about the reliability of the set, as RCA has had some problems with this before.
    I'd appreciate some help! [IMG]

I searched some more and found this comment on Circui City's website:

RCA HDTV - Dead in nine months
I was very disappointed when my set died after only 9 months.

That was one out of 9 comments, and all the other comments seemed to be from people who had owned the set just a few days or weeks.
I haven't heard as many "my TV died"-stories about other brands as about RCA, so I guess I'm staying away from this set. Unless someone here can convince me to buy it? [IMG]
