You can download it here. Gamespot Complete members can also get it over there.

Post impressions if you do check it out...I'm on dial-up so I'll probably get it overnight. It's over 180 MB large.

Hmmm... I tried installing it and got an error in the setup process. Maybe it isn't 2000 compatible?

And for the record, it took 15 minutes [IMG]

I got it in 20 minutes (ADSL) and it installed fine on WinXP with a Radeon 9700.

It seems decent, but I'd really rather be playing it with a console control pad rather than this Sidewinder abomination currently lashed to my machine.

For the record, I am a psychotic fan of Rayman 2, particularly on Dreamcast.

    Give me the console version(s)!

My wife loved watching me play Rayman 2 on my DC for some reason. [IMG]

I can't wait for the console versions.

My only paranoia regarding this one is that the main people behind part 2 left to do their own thing fairly shortly after it hit it big.

Anybody else love the flight control on the last level of Rayman 2? I'd always wished they'd made that into its own game [IMG]

Well, the demo is not working on my PC. Screw the PC! [IMG] I'll wait for the Xbox version.

    Everybody Loves Rayman! [IMG]
That's why I posted this, I was eager to see how the latest version holds up.

    Rob -

Where did you download from? Although I'm not on a T1, I never have a problem with speed on my side - it's finding an open server and/or one with decent speed.

I just downloaded from the link provided.
(The speed may have a little to do with the fact that it was at 1am [IMG] )

Where are the console version demos? I don't want to tarnish my first sample of Rayman 3 by playing it on a low end PC.

I also loved Rayman 2 for DC (a DC game I liked! GASP!!!!). I would download the demo, but I wouldn't be able to run it, and I don't play many PC games so I'm not prepared to play it with a keyboard. I'll most likely get a console version.

I was planning on buying the Xbox version, but I'll rent it first now. I disliked the idea of the characters speaking english, and I dislike it after the demo. I know I'm being harsh on the game, but the gibberish-speak of Rayman2 lent a lot of charm to the game.

Of all the reasons to relegate a game to a rental.....

If it's really annoying, that's a great reason to rent it first.
