In your opinion, who do you feel consistantly offers the best material and titles for the money? In addition, are there distributors whom you'd like to see obtain the rights for regarding certain titles? For example, Criterion issued "Once Were Warriors" on Laserdisc initially, but New Line picked up DVD distribution rights, and released an average DVD offering.
Naturally, Criterion is tops for the preservation of modern cinema. While some of their choices are questionable, namely "Chasing Amy", I feel as if they are in a league of their own. Granted, when it comes to classics, KINO Video has certainly held their own. I just drool over the thought of Criterion tackling "Metropolis", though!
