Rat Shack pin connectors (1 Viewer)

I was looking at using the Radio Shack gold pin connectors (2xx-309 and 2xx-320). They seem kind of bulky to me. I was wondering if shorting is a problem if the connectors touch. They don't appear to have any kind of insulating jacket on them.

Yes, that is a problem.

I have wrapped mine with scotch-tape to avoid them touching.

eh? speaker pin connectors without insulation? why in the world would they make something like that???

get something like this from best-buy...at least they're isulated.
