1. Dirty Harry - The original is still the best.
2. Sudden Impact - great shoot-outs, lines("make my day"), and 70's-style brutality.
3. Magnum Force - good sequel with no shortage of gunshot wounds
4. The Dead Pool - short, silly(and final) sequel with a fun B-movie angle and lots of bullets
5. The Enforcer - easily the weakest entry in the series-meandering plot and pedestrian climax

How would you rank 'em?

Hey I enjoyed The Enforcer, the funniest of the series, loved that hysterical Big Ed Mustapha subplot, and Tyne Daly was a memorable partner for Harry Callahan.

Well, it's been awhile since I've seen them, but from what I remember, I'll go with Will's ranking.

Dammit! Now I feel compelled to go buy the set. Someone stop me!

Edit: judging from the posts in my Clint Eastwood tourney, people certainly have differing opinions on which sequel is the best...

Magnum Force and The Enforcer kinda blur together for me, but I'm a big fan of Dirty Harry and Sudden Impact. The Dead Pool wasn't half-bad, but not great. Jim Carrey is pretty amusing in it!
