Some were lamenting in After Hours about not being able to decide what DVD to watch next. Well, this got me thinking..
I've created a program that picks a random movie from IMDB's Top 250 each week.
I've decided to go out and buy/rent whatever that movie turns out to be and watch it. Whether I've seen it or not. Just a little something to throw some variety in my viewing habits.
Anyway.. if anyone is interested, this weeks movie turned out to be:
    Amelie (2001)
Please express interest if you would like to continue hearing about the "random movie of the week" or would like to comment on it. Otherwise, I'll keep my random movies to myself.
    Have a nice day.

I think that's a neat idea. I think I'll go rent "Amelie" tomorrow. [IMG]

Cool idea, Dave. Don't forget to post your thoughts on each movie post-viewing.

As for me...I already own Amelie.

Thanks for the support, guys (and gal). I don't know if I'm qualified to write movie reviews, but I will post what I think. I plan on watching Amelie tonight. [IMG]

Finally squeezed Amelie in last night. The Mrs wanted to see it too and we couldn't get our schedules to work together.
I loved it.. I'm sorry I only rented it and didn't buy it.
I am smitten by Audrey Tautou. You can't help but fall in love with her character.
    This weeks film:

Oh.. you can click on the link in my sig. I wasn't sure if there was an interest to see them posted here. I can continue to post it here if you like.

    This week's is: The 39 Steps (1935)

Last week's was Das Boot (1981)

I must admit, the holidays have caused me to fall behind.. so, I've yet to watch these past 2 titles myself. :b
