What's the difference between ECC REG RAM and just normal RAM? Thanks in advance!
ECC RAM includes parity checking, giving greater data integrity and reliability. Unless you're running a mission-critical server, I wouldn't even bother unless you have to.
It will also run ever so slightly slower (1 - 4% or so). Not to mention that a great many consumer motherboards don't even support it. It is definitely not worth the cost for a home PC.
