RAM question (1 Viewer)

I have been trying to add another DDR 556 module without success. The 1st one I sent back tested good so they sent another which I have been not able to get working.
Now I am dead in the water....no prompt etc.

If something happened to the 1st good module, would the computer prompt or even start up.
I checked the PS ant I am good with 12 & 5 volts on the drive power connectors so I don't think thats the problem

You don't mention what board/chipset you're using. Many boards only support 4 "banks" of RAM (usually 2 sticks if they're both double sided). This could be your problem...
