Hey All!

I don't know if this is an urban myth or not? But I have a 12" powered down-firing subwoofer. I am curious or not if I raise this a couple more inches off the ground/floor will it push more air, thus creating more bass? Before I take the time to cut and make piping to raise it, is this theory true or not? Thx again for the advice.

No. The driver has a maximum ability to move air in the cabinet it's in, which can be reached at it's current placement no doubt.
