Nice. I haven't bought this in any format, but now is the time to as it's a great film.
Does this company (MVD Marquee Collection) release quality releases as far as video/audio quality is concerned?

That's a very good question.

When I posted the preorder I was looking to see who was releasing it, thinking it might be WB under an MGM distribution deal.

No, it was instead MVD, which generally, releases B-titles.

...Also distributes Arrow in the US which doesn't ... always ;)

Surprised a major company is not releasing this movie.

Got the Blu Ray which to my memory is okay but if this results in an improvement will definitely upgrade.

Probably not one for me that screams for an upgrade from the blu ray, but good for those who want into or have never owned it on disc before

Damn, the release date is more than 4 months out.
Yeah, I don't understand this one. The original release date was next week, but then it suddenly shifted to May.

Also wondering what's happening with WAC's The Prince and the Showgirl (still no link to order even though it's only 2 weeks out - supposedly) and The Way We Were 4K which was advertised Dec. 26 as 'coming soon' but still has a TBA next to it. To me, 'soon' doesn't mean two months into the new year and still no release date!

....and here we have it. The Germans over at caps-a-holic have got their mitts on a copy before anyone else. I expect it to look sharper, projected onto a big screen, than the blu-ray.

I'm concerned about the exclusion (again) of the original audio!
I'm not a particular fan of remixes.
The previous remastered blu-ray had it!
Was it so difficult to include it?
