Is it allowed/appropriate to post here about a race for charity I am doing in the spring? It is to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - I would like to post something in After Hours Lounge and put a link to the LLS donation page in my signature.

The owners discussed and agreed you can post about your charity and include a link in your signature. They very much appreciate you asking before going forward. Please note in your post that you do this with HTF approval, but is not an endorsement by HTF or its owners.

A note to others about such situations: promoting a personal charity on HTF is considered by the owners on a case by case basis. An attitude of "seek permission rather than beg forgiveness" is no guarantee of approval, but it is much preferred.
