SYNOPSIS:-
TO END ALL WARS is based on the event which world war 2 veteran ERNEST GORDON had encountered during his capture by the japanese soldiers during WW2 in thailand.

ERNEST GORDON(played by Ciarán McMenamin) was one of the SCOTTISH OFFICER who joined in the war against japanese in asia with MAJOR IAN CAMPBELL(played by ROBERT CARLYLE).
They were captured as POWS with a U.S MARINE OFFICER REARDON(played by KEIFER SUTHERLAND),join in the building of ROAD OF DEATH which links thailand to india by force.
During their hard times in POW camp,they suffered under the brutality of japanese tortures and force in practise bushido believes.

To overcome these mental and physical tortures,ERNEST GORDON teaches fellow POWs meaning of live,which includes living in harmony with the enemy.

IAN CAMPBELL believed that there was a way out from the POW camp,but feared that his escape plans would be affected by the "teaching sessions" by ERNEST GORDON.

VIDEO SCORE
Picture presentation quality is professionally detailed that one would mistaken it as a U.S release.
Color saturation is acceptable.
The overall presentation quality is a little lack of brightness.

AUDIO SCORE
Though boosted with DD5.1 surround,most of the time,the audio tracks falls to the frontal soundstage,with little activities to the surround channel.As the film itself is mostly dialogue driven.
The surround channels comes to live,when the enveloping music scores starts to play. Bass is strong when the B-bombers dropped rounds onto the POW camp.
