Well since my original post went MIA I´ll retype it.
The R2 Project at www.r2-dvd.org can now confirm that both Monsters Inc and A Bugs Life will have a dts-track when they are released as 2-disc Deluxe Editions in september. Extra Supplements on disc 2 should be identical to the R1 editions but the invlusion of a dts track on disc 1 will be nice.

I will be picking these up as I am very curious about both
    releases sound and extra's wise.

I hope that the upcoming dvd of Lilo & Stitch will also feature dts.

Do these digitally made movies suffer from the PAL speedup other films do? If they do, is the DTS track pitch corrected?

Thanks in advance for any information.

    Thanks,

Chauncy, yes PAL speed up still applies with digitaly sourced movies. Pitch correction is never a guarantee, and the process does not come without some problems.

Monster's Inc. is out presently as a 1-disc edition in Sweden (I saw it for sale today). It has Dolby 5.1 tracks in English, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish, and subtitles, as well, in those languages. There is no DTS track.

How the hell did they fit 4 5.1 tracks on a DVD? Is there room for that?

MichaelAW: The dts-track will only be present on the 2-disc edition set for release in september. The 1-disc edition presently in stores has no dts track, correct.

I understand that it has room for the DTS track, as the 2 disc set will not incude a 4:3 version of the film/

For those that do not want PAL speed up...

R3 Korea will get a 16:9 NTSC widescreen release with dts English surround & Dolby Digital English 5.1 surround soundtracks and the same extras as the R1 release.

I got mine today. Magnificent production. Extras galore and A/V excellence. The DTS track is flagged as an DTS ES track, no EX flag on the Dolby.
Anders Liden has posted som snaps of the R2 packaging:
