I know there aren't a lot of Rap fans here at HTF but Biz was a pioneering force in the game and has passed away at the tragic age of only 57. His self-effacing style was never mean-spirited or vulgar but instead always jovial. Colloquially known as "the human orchestra, " he had a minor role in the second Men In Black film where he demonstrated his uncanny ability to "make the music with his mouth." For those in the know, this is a heartbreaking loss.

I think you’d be surprised how many of us consider ourselves Rap fans, especially early stuff. I got turned off in late 90s early 2000s when every popular song was the singers spending the whole time talking about how cool and or badass they were but I still pick up new tracks today.

I liked a few of Biz’s songs and had hoped he’d turn things around when reports of his death a few weeks ago proved premature.
