USE: 99.9% DirecTV, DirecTV HD, DVD Movies and SACD Music

ROOM: 17x16x8

ASSOCIATED HARDWARE:

Television - Sony KV-36HS420 with Hughes DTV HD Receiver

DVD - Denon 2200

Speakers - Infinity Alpha 50's Front, Alpha 37c Center, Infinity 12" 250W Subwoofer, Custom Bi-Directional Infinity Point Fives Surrounds, Alpha 20 Surround Back.

Budget: Only as much as needed to support requirements.

Currently the best deal seems to be the Pioneer 1014tx. Good options and good power. (I love it)
I would also look at the Yamaha 1400 or 1500.
Denon has the a couple to look at.
Many good receivers (last years models) are still available at good discounts
