I have both my desktop and laptop (both running XP) connected to a router, which is connected to a cable modem. In My Network Places I have two folders: Shared Docs on Laptop and Shared Docs on Desktop. This is the same on both computers and I am the computer administrator of both computers. I used to be able to share documents between the two computers, but now I'm only able to access the laptop's folder from the desktop and not vice versa. When I attempt to get into my desktop's shared folder from my laptop, I get an error message stating I "do not have permission-please see computer administrator..." Is there something I have to reset to let the desktop know it's okay to share the shared folder with the laptop? Thanks.
