Hi, my parents are in the market for a new TV and there most likely going to end up with a LCD rear projection. I've been researching them a lot, and there's one thing I haven't come across that I thinks important. Is there a Horizontal View angle like regular LCD screens? For example, at my house, the seating around the tv is probably 100-120 deg from end to end, are there going to be viewability issues at the corners with LCD RPTV?
Thanks

I just got done installing my new Sony KDF-60WF655 LCD rptv. Side viewing angle concerns are a moot point.

Best thing to do is visit BB, CC, or HH Gregg and test this yourself.

I too really like my KDF-60WF655, and agree that the viewing angle is quite wide. According to the manual, it's 125-130 degrees. Note, however, that the vertical viewing area is not as wide, it's 55-60 degrees. So I can't watch the TV while lying on the floor (it doesn't bother me, but I figured you
d like to know about this anyway). The TV is on a low table, so I can sit on the floor about 10' away and it is quite watchable.

Greetings

Man, watching the TV at 5 degrees off the plane of the TV would be punishing. :)
