    Hi,

I received all my sound equipment. I am using one power outlet which has 2 plugs in it. Can I connect my computer, printer, and subwoofer (350 watt) to the Belkin Surge Protector (it's no Monster, but I bought it with my comp); and then plug my receiver into the other plug? Or should I use the power surge protector for all the equipment? Thanks for the help. I am excited to hear my new system [IMG]

Unless there is a lightning storm coming your way, you can probably give the system a listen, but get thee a good surge protector for all your gear asap. The problem is that, if your amp is unconnected to a surge protector and connected to the other equipment, a surge can still enter the other equipment via the power amp. At least that's my understanding.
