i think i have this right, but i want to make sure.

i have a dual vc (8ohm each) subwoofer. each vc is wired to a set of binding posts.

if i use a small piece of speaker wire and jumper the + to + and - to - on the binding posts (from the outside of the box) will i get a 4ohm load to the amp if I plug the speaker wire from my amp to one set of binding posts?

    i hope that makes sense!

Correct, just so long as the jumper wire is large enough to handle the current of a single VC.
