k here goes... I have my main speakers biamped by having one amp for each speaker vertically biamped. And now that I have the mains crossed over at 80hz, will it only send signals above 80hz to the outboard amps, therefore releaving stress on the amps because they don't have to play the bass signals?? And if the crossover is set to 80, will it cross the subwoofer to 80hz as well, or do i have to dial it in myself?

And what do people find better as a crossover point for music, 80hz or 50hz? I have my main speakers that go to 30hz -2b, and 24hz -9db anechoic. And I have a sealed 230L Tempest with a adire 272w plate amp.

what is your pre/pro/receiver? most DO apply bass and time management to the pre-outs.

how is your sub connected?
