Maybe on the Haunting (which I have never seen), but check this out. Black Hawk Down has a MASSIVE amplitude of 5Hz as graphically demonstrated here.

FWIW, my Tempest is tuned at around 17Hz and I'm now using the 300-794 PE 250W plate amp w/ no boost and the driver is still registering this infrasonic bass.

Do you have the bass boosted at all?

No. Just the "SURF" network on the AVA250. IIRC, the boost was about 1db @ 21hz or something like that.

I dont know a whole lot about the physics of these alignments. One thing I know is that vented alignment gradually go up in xmax, reach a apex and drop down low where the tune point is. Below that massive air load behind the driver brings the xmax back on up.
