Ok, I'm way out of the loop when it comes to televisions these days. I'm going to make a purchase in the near future on an approx. 52-57 inch HDTV. I noticed that in addition to the traditional RPTVs(CRT?) there are also LCD and DLP models. I'm wondering if the LCD models have the same viewing angle limitations that LCD computer screens have, and which type of tv is capable of producing the best picture in general.

There are still some inheirent angle issues in RPYV's. Computer monitors are direct view not projection. (any angle issues could only be worse with projection over direct view.

The best is very subjective, all technologies have pros and cons. I guess you would have to base it one which pros and cons are most important to you.
