    1. first question I know you can buy the twilight zone on dvd but you have to buy 43 volumes that costs on an average 400-500 dollars. My question is, is anyone working on season sets or a box set a little cheaper?
    2. Are any companys working on season sets or box sets for tales from the crypt, or tales from the darkside???

if anyone has any info I would appreciate it because I'm about to drop the 400 dollars for the twilight zone set and I would rather not have to pay that much.

I can't answer your question, but I would buy The Twilight Zone in a heartbeat if it was in season-by-season sets.

Being a proud owner of every single Twilight Zone volume, I'd enthusiastically recommended them, season sets or not. They can be found cheap now! The only reason I'd rebuy them (in sets or otherwise) is if the earlier volumes were remastered as well as the later volumes. Once Image took over the reins from Panasonic, the quality went WAY up.

If you decide to holdout for season sets of twilight zone. You can always pickup season 1 set of "the outer limits" to hold you over yes different shows but both are fantastic. [IMG]

Also count me in for season discs of Tales From The Crypt. HBO, please release Tales From the Crypt on DVD in season-by-season format. I only got to see the edited for TV reruns of Tales From The Crypt on FOX 5 from New York City in the early 1990's.

I too would love to buy the season box sets of TFTC !
BTW, since we're on the subject of TFTC, JFYI, my favorite episode is one of the earlier ones called "Terror TV" starring the late Morten Downey Jr.
For some reason, this show had quite the scare/creepy factor more so than any of the other episodes.
There's so many, I know, but anyone care to mention their
    personal favorite TFTC episode?
    Later!!

I would love to see "Tales From The Crypt" in season sets on DVD (Many great stars throughout the run, and the show was produced by some of my favorite movie people, like Walter Hill, Richard Donner, Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis).

I think I know why we're so slow to see them...

They don't know who owns the rights. Yes, HBO released episodes on video, but when aired on Sci-Fi, I see the 20th Century Fox logo at the end of every episode. So, who really owns it?

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff...

While on this tick, how about Spielberg's "Amazing Stories"?
