First off, I have read about people talking about calibrating there DLP TV's. I thought one of the advantages of having a DLP was that they don't need calibrated. A lot of people suggest going to a front DLP projector. But can I go to a front DLP projector for the same price as a rear projection DLP. I am looking at the Samsung 61 inch DLP for around $4000.

    Thanks

You can get a DLP projector for a lot less money than a DLP TV. The Infocus X1 is $999 and will give you a much larger picture than 61". The picture quality isn't quite as nice (IMO) as a DLP TV, but still very very good with DVDs and HD. There are many other, better projectors out there, too, for less than the price of the TV you mentioned.
