Ok, I just purchased this TV last week and I have a few questions.

If I adjust all the video setting to what DVE suggests, will playing an Xbox on this TV primarily 70% of the time ruin the picture faster than if I were to only watch cable? I've always thought that if you didn't have your contrast/brightness up way too high, the xbox would not hurt the TV in any way whatsoever...so what's the story??

Also, does this TV's autoconvergence mode work well?

One more question, how exactly does the DVE color test work? I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the 3 color filter and the screen?? Please explain!!

If your set is calibrated properly then there really is no need to worry unless you leave the screen paused for hours on end..burn-in has people worried when they shouldn't be..sure it's an issue, but it takes so friggen long to burn the CRT's you would have to be a complete idiot for it to happen..I play my xbox on my CRT RPTV all the time and won't be stopping anytime soon.. :emoji_thumbsup:
