Question re: Buffy tv pilot & upcoming dvd set?.... (1 Viewer)

I have never seriously watched Buffy on tv. But, because I have an interest it and I also want to support any tv show on dvd. I will be purchasing the set. I do have a question. I have heard their is a different pilot or that the pilot won't be on the set? Can anyone clarify this for me?

The unaired pilot was a "proof of concept" film. It stars mostly the same actors (except for Willow, aka Bizarro Willow) and takes place entirely withing Sunnydale High. Different events happen at different times, some lines are changed, and everything takes place in 30min instead of 2 hours. Oh yeah, the Master isn't a part of this, it's just a generic vampire attack on the school.
Current theory runs that Bizarro Willow is bitter, and won't allow the pilot onto the set (she has to sign off on it)
