    First post - great forums.

I picked up a Pioneer 811 recently for use in the new house. I need to order some cables and have a quick question.

If I'm running 3 different styles of video input into the receiver, do I have to run 3 different styles out to the TV as well?

    DVD - Component into receiver
    Sat - S-Video into receiver
    VCR - Composite into receiver

Can this receiver turn around and provide signal to the TV for all components through the component cables? Or will I have to also run s-vid and composite for the other components and in essence have to switch not only the input on the receiver but the TV also?

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, Progressive Scan it is...or will be once I pick up the new DVD...I guess I'll just have to run the converter for the vcr and run s-vid for sat and vcr and program a macro in the remote to switch everything for the component input on both pieces for dvd.

What a pain, but oh well...Thanks for the help [IMG]
